I Am Integrity: Faithfulness in Divine Timing
Part 3 of the “I AM” Leadership Series

I Am Integrity: Faithfulness in Divine Timing
Where We’re Going
Dear Readers
Over the last few weeks, we’ve explored Expansion — the courage to grow beyond comfort — and Leadership — the posture of purpose and presence.
Now we arrive at the virtue that holds everything together: Integrity.
My daily affirmation reminds me —

“I am Integrity — I act with faithfulness and patience in divine timing, staying true to my values in all that I do.”
Integrity is what allows leadership to stand and expansion to last. It’s not about being flawless or gaining favor — it’s about walking in alignment with purpose and trusting God’s timing over your own.
The Story
During my coaching sessions earlier this year, I gained a completely new lens on integrity. I realized that integrity isn’t about image — it’s about obedience. It’s about staying grounded in truth even when outcomes haven’t yet caught up to your effort.
Integrity is faithfulness in motion. It’s waking up every day and doing the work — not because you’ve already seen the results, but because you trust that the reward will come when God says it’s time. It’s about being disciplined enough to keep your standard high, to put forth your best effort, and to do what’s right — even when no one’s clapping, even when no one sees it.

Integrity means being patient with God’s time, understanding that you don’t control the when — you control the how. You show up with excellence. You serve with gratitude. You finish with honor.
And here’s the truth I’ve learned: integrity is not measured by how quickly success arrives; it’s revealed by how consistently you show up while you’re waiting.
When I apply that lens to my life — in leadership, mentorship, and even in how I rest — I see integrity as the quiet strength that sustains purpose. It’s what keeps me centered when ambition tries to move faster than alignment. It’s the understanding that being obedient is the reward.
Integrity doesn’t demand spotlight or status. It demands stillness, faith, and a steady heart.
The Lesson

Integrity is the alignment between effort, faith, and timing.
It’s the discipline to pursue excellence without entitlement.
It’s the patience to wait for what’s promised without forcing what’s convenient.
And it’s the obedience to keep doing the right thing even when no one’s keeping score.
When you live with integrity, your results no longer define you — your character does.
Actions to Work With
Trust God’s Timing: Write down one goal you’ve been anxious about, and instead of pushing, pray for patience and preparation.
Practice Silent Excellence: Do one act of excellence this week that no one will see or recognize — and take joy in simply completing it well.
Check Your Alignment: Reflect each morning: Am I doing this for results, or in obedience to what I’ve been called to do?

“Integrity is faithfulness in action — showing up with patience, obedience, and purpose, even when the promise hasn’t yet arrived.”
Next Week: I Am Legacy
Legacy isn’t something we leave behind — it’s something we build through our daily choices and how we serve others.
Next Sunday, we’ll close this series with the final affirmation: I Am Legacy.
